>Well, today was the last day of week one of the TTT course.
Joined a few of the other students on the webcast by Kevin, had problems with my connection which meant my sound kept breaking up and my picture kept freezing – ah the joys of technology!!!
Had a meeting with our head of IT yeasterday and explained what we want to do moving forward with technology at our centre, he now understands that as an education establishment we don’t just need a word processor and Email!!!
Added this weeks list of activities as activities in my REfLECT portfolio.
I don’t know what I will do next week without TTT to look at – maybe my day job?
This week has been a really useful week for learning new stuss and trying out new technologies, after my initial apprehension on day one in Wolverhampton, I feel like I have made a good choice to come on this course.
>Had a busy couple of days since my last blog entry. Plodded on through the list of activities and subscribed to loads of new websites suggested by Kevin.
Added my mugshot to various profile pages.
>A bit more.
DimDim worked ok for me this morning and I think it was a good session although some problems with technology – isn’t that typical of technology when you are doing a course to integrate it into what you do?
Printed a bit more out to read later.
>Had a bit more of a play and published my blog.
Printed off a few more sheets for todays resources.
Now to see if I can get DimDim to work for me.
>Friday 14th November 2008
I arrive at RSC on Friday and quickly thought “oops, it’s about teacher training, I don’t have anything to do with that our any experience of teaching personally.”
As the day went on my thoughts began to change and I thought, well I do need to learn about all these different technologies as I am trying to bring a VLE into our centre. Lets give it my best shot and you never know I might quite enjoy it.

Have spent the day with the Week 01 Activities page up on my browser and just dipped in and out as time allowed.
Joined Slideshare as I looked at Kevs understanding VLE presentation.
Printed off a few of the resources to read later when I am away from my PC.
